This '76 BMW R90/6 is in original, great running condition. It is a daily driver and has been for a while and starts up immediately every day. Very reliable and clean. All controls work fine (lights: high/low beam, turn signals, brake light, electric starter,...) This is a rare and sought after bike that can only go up in value if kept original and in current great condition. The R90/6 is equipped with a front disc brake that makes it much safer in traffic than the smaller Rs like R65 R70 and such. It has adjustable rear shocks and a steering stabilizer. The black paint is in good condition and appears to be the original paint. There is hardly any rust. This bike has not been in any accidents. It has been maintained properly, have many receipts and records. The tires are new, battery is new. The Bing carburetors are tuned just right, engine runs great and strong, does not smoke. The transmission shifts perfectly every time. There are no exhaust leaks. The brakes are good. I have a clear CA title and the bike is currently registered. It must be hard if not impossible to find another original R90/6 in this condition for this low price. I hate to see it go but school forces sale. Asking price is $4100 obo.
