| Description: |
This bike is a Triumph TT600. It is the motorcycle that got Triumph back on top in the race circuits.
It has approximately 120hp and is lightning quick. I have owned the bike since the first 1000 miles were on it as I bought it about 6 months used from the original dealer (Big Four).
All service has been performed by licensed dealers in Indiana and Illinois. Mainly Big Four Cycle of Evansville, Indiana, but it has been over at Team MCC Triumph in Villa Park, Illinois also.
It is black on black as I have always preferred the black bikes. I am selling it as my wife doesn't ride it much anymore and I have since purchased a bigger black triumph, a Dayton 955i. The TT600 is an amazing bike and has a more upright riding position than the Japanese bikes do. It is every bit as fast, but much more comfortable to ride on long rides as well as tracks if someone was so inclined to do so. I used it as a commuter vehicle on my 2.4 mile ride to and from work for most of it's life.
It became my wife's bike about 3 years ago when she didn't want to be a passenger anymore and she just hasn't been riding it much. Hence the low miles. (9,492 - Approximately 1,356 miles per year of its life) It has a D&D Hines pipe on it which sounds unbelievably stunning. This makes the bike safer as people will be looking out for you on the road and adds power. Also, the tires were replaced about 1500 miles ago or so. So they are virtually new, the oil has been changed with full synthetic Mobil 1 motorcycle racing oil, and the engine coolant is Engine Ice which is approved for track use if you would like since it keeps the motor cooler and isn't slippery if it ever spilled (It is approved by AMA, CCS and FUSA road racing as well). THIS BIKE HAS NEVER BEEN RACED, I just prefer to use top notch components when I ride.
Now to the bad/ugly bit. I put it down when I hit some gravel in a parking lot at my work one day a few years ago. Since then it has been gone through by two shops top to bottom to make sure that it truly was ONLY cosmetic damage. I refuse to ride or sell any motorcycle that is unsafe. However, that said, it does have some scratches from this less than 10mph fall. (I was literally turning into my work parking lot when it went out from under me due to gravel dust.)
KBB and NADA list its value at $ 3500.00 without all the extras and performance enhancers. Please bring all offers. We can surely work a deal.
